VRAM'S FOURTH OF JULY MESSAGE
Friends,
This year I’m celebrating the Fourth of July from the shore of the Mediterranean in my native country of Lebanon. I’m blessed to be able to connect my children with their roots and to spend time surrounded by extended family, delicious food, and the familiar comforts of my youth.
But being in Lebanon also offers perspective: I’m profoundly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had over nearly four decades in my ’new’ home...
… a home that generously adopted me, my siblings, my parents, and my wife ...
… a home that provided fertile soil for my family and my work ...
... and a home that respects and cultivates not only Lebanese and Armenian communities, but also communities from all around the world.
We have all benefited immensely from the genius and prescience of the American Founding Fathers. And it is down to us to preserve and uphold the ideals and institutions of the republic we have inherited.
